Roldan Rodriguez driver of the Team Minardi by GP Racing achieved yesterday to step in the podium at the epic circuit of Spa-Francochamps, scenario of the third meeting of the Eurseries3000, finishing third on the first lap. The driver from Valladolid, that started out third after the trials held in the morning, made a great start managing to pass Ricci, with whom he held a great battle during the first part of the race.

The holder of the pole position, Bonanomi was keeping the first place, with a 3 second difference with Roldan and Ricci, that finally passed the Spaniard, getting back the second position. Petrov had an accident which made the safety car to get in with only four laps finish, time at which Rodriguez was third, with is immediate chaser Cressoni at four seconds distance. The Team has worked well and we have achieved a good result, now I hope to do better tomorrow, were if everything is all right, I´m sure we’ll be fighting for victory” said Rodriguez.
